How to Create a Listing on ITAD Auctions
Hereβs a step-by-step guide to help you create your first listing.
Select Add Sales
Pick one of these listing types:
- Auction β Set a starting price, and buyers place bids.
- Fixed Price Offer β Set a selling price. Buyers can buy immediately or submit proposals.
- You can enable price proposals: buyers may offer at least 70% of your price (you can accept or reject).
Fill in Listing Details
Required info includes:
- Listing Title β Short and clear (e.g. HP EliteBook 840 G8 | i5β1135G7 | A/B Grade)
- Category β Choose from dropdown
- Total Units β Total quantity available
- Location β Where the items are physically stored
- Currency β EUR or USD
Auction:
- Starting Bid (β¬1 or more)
- Target Price β Your minimum acceptable price
- Bid Step β Minimum increment between bids
Fixed Price:
- Total Selling Price β Your exact sale price
Additional fields:
- Data File β Upload Excel (last column must be quantity)
- Photos β Up to 20 images; mobile users can upload live photos
- End Time β When the listing ends
- Description β Add product condition, specs, or anything useful
- Reference Number / Keyword β Optional; visible only to you
Save Draft to store your listing as a draft.
Review & Request Activation
- After saving, the listing is still inactive
- You can edit, add/delete files, or duplicate it
- When everything looks good, click βRequest Activationβ
- Our team will review and adjust formatting if needed. Once approved, the listing goes live for buyers to see.
Listing Behavior Notes
Auctions:
- Bidders compete until time runs out
- If the target price is met β sale is automatic
- If not met β seller has 48h to accept or reject top bid
Fixed Price Offers:
- Buyers can buy immediately or send a proposal
- Seller has 48h to accept/reject incoming proposals
